Our Story

South Jersey’s best burger in 2020!

After the Eagles amazing Super Bowl run during the 2017-18 season (Go Birds) we were inspired to share our love of food with all the hungry dogs out there. Hungry dogs run faster, but fed dogs run further, our goal is to make the fuel needed to take on any challenge. Our menu features burgers, cheesesteaks, hoagies, all-day breakfast sandwiches, specials and more.

Although we’ve been working in the restaurant industry over the past two decades, this journey really began when the three of us knuckleheads decided to build our own food truck, The Dank Tank, and move out to Colorado to bless the High Country with Philly cheesesteaks and other favorites. We loved the mountains, but home was calling and we decided to move back in 2019, shortly before officially opening Hungry Dog Grill in January 2020.

Who We Are

Three friends with a passion for food and business.

Leading the pack of Hungry Dogs is Charles Krebs, with over 15 years experience running restaurants after managing multiple establishments within Harrah’s Casino Chester, as well as Chili’s in Philadelphia. Chaz’s managing experience keeps our business running like a well oiled machine, ensuring our quality is always on point.

The engineer of the menu is Ian Canale, with over 15 years experience running kitchens, from Akira Moorestown, Dooney’s Pub Delran, and Hooters Maple Shade to name a few. Ian’s diverse experience in the kitchen shows in the ever evolving menu filled with delicious fusion options.

The Artist of the group is Glenn Edwards, older brother to Ian. Glenn has been one of the leading waiters in South Jersey for over two decades at various high end establishments, including Akira Moorestown and Scarpetta Philadelphia, and truly has an ear for listening to what satisfies customers.
